Bought a recliner, arrived with a hole in the fabric.
They replaced it, while waiting for the replacement the seat sank.
After 2 days the replacement recliner seat sank as well.
I asked for my money back and was told no refunds.
I was told I had to spend more money for another recliner, my choice being spend more or lose all I spent another $100(after research) for a recliner that was made differently.(seat springs)
When that recliner arrived it was missing padding on the arms, seat and back.
They sent a "furniture medic" to see the chair, he informed them that the chair was defective.
After a great deal of discussion they sent another chair, same thing, no padding on the seat, arm and back.
I was told their "furniture medic" was unqualified.
Still they refused to refund me, they told me "too bad", after a great deal of effort they exchanged the chair for a dresser, I was no longer interested in their chairs.
I went to their store to choose what to exchange for and I found the defective chairs on their floor for sale.
They did warn people, they put an "as is" sign on them.
I pointed out the springs coming thru the fabric, the missing padding on the seats, meaning a person had to sit on wood and the missing padding on the arms.
They didnt care.
The thing is, it takes awhile to notice the defects, sitting in it as "trying them out" you wouldnt notice, but you sure as heck realize when you sit in them long enough to watch a movie.
Horrible manger, horrible store big mistake to do business with them.
In my opinion, knowingly selling defective product is theft.
But it seems totally acceptable to the UFW at Sunridge Calgary
Reason of review: Damaged or defective.
